Ansu Fati - Spanish Footballer

Anssumane “Ansu” Fati He is an African footballer born in Guinea-Bissau on October 31, 2002. He moved to Spain at the age of six with his family, and they settled in the center of Andalusia. There Fati began his career with the Peloteros de Herrera's academy. In a short time, he became the great player of this children's team, leading him to achieve great triumphs. With Fati, the team won the Plazuela and Casariche trophies in three years. Observed by numerous teams, in 2010, he would arrive at Sevilla FC. In this team, he would also quickly stand out. During the year he played and the year he was on hiatus while he waited to join FC Barcelona, he received numerous proposals from other clubs. However, his father was sure that Ansu's future was at FC Barcelona.

In 2012 he arrived at the FC Barcelona School when he was ten years old. FC Barcelona signed him together with his brother Braima, both from the Sevilla quarry. Ansu Fati joined the lower divisions of Barcelona and soon began to stand out, always playing in a category older than his age. Likewise, Ansu Fati always acted at the top. He was younger than the other players. Still, this didn't stop him from being one of the best in the squad. He formed a lethal duo with Take Kubo, the Japanese, later signed by Real Madrid. Between the two, they scored 129 goals in that league. Playing with the 2001 generation, although Ansu Fati was born in 2002, he conquered the prestigious MIC tournament for FC Barcelona. This team beat Valencia in the final with Ansu Fati and Take as great figures.

His progression became slower later times. First, because of a FIFA sanction, he was not allowed to play with the youth squad since he was under fifteen years old. But, it was especially slowed due to a severe injury he suffered in a derby against Espanyol. It was a tibia and fibula fracture that he had for many months without playing. But Fati overcame every obstacle and continued to excel in each of his matches. On August 25, 2019, Fati became the second-youngest player to make his Barcelona debut at just 16 years and 298 days. Fati entered the second half of the victory against Betis. A few days later, he scored his first professional goal against C. A. Osasuna (August 31). So, he was the youngest player to score a goal in the first division (16 years and 304 days). On September 17, he would break another record by becoming the youngest player to make his UEFA Champions League debut.

With the Spanish team, Ansu Fati became the youngest striker to score with the Spanish team. This happened in the match against Ukraine for the Nations League at the beginning of September 2020. At that time, he was 17 years and 311 days old. Ansu Fati's career is being not only meteoric but historical. And the coaches who know him assure that he still has great room for improvement.
